About me
I am a Canadian Senior Lecturer (Associate Professor) of Entrepreneurship and Sustainability. My academic journey has been deeply rewarding, beginning with a PhD in Entrepreneurship from the University of St Andrews, one of the UK’s premier Business Schools, and an MBA from the AACSB-accredited University of South Dakota. I am passionate about advancing entrepreneurship education, particularly in sustainability and social entrepreneurship, which has been a focal point of my extensive teaching and program development efforts.
Throughout my career, I have been dedicated to advancing entrepreneurship education, with a focus on empowering others to succeed in their ventures, fostering community engagement, and conducting research on micro and small businesses. As a Senior Fellow in AdvanceHE, my expertise in educational methodologies and curriculum development is well recognized. My research explores the complexities of entrepreneurship and the balance between environmental and community sustainability, creating thriving businesses. I am particularly passionate about supporting the commercialization of innovative ideas and assisting business owners globally as they navigate their entrepreneurial journeys.
